I aim to foster an learning environment that is inclusive, enjoyable and inspiring for students. I am strongly influenced by evidence-based pedagogy research, drawing from the best practices alongside my own experience and feedback from my students. I believe in innovative education that engages with each student, something has proved to be especially important when much of teaching was moved online during the Covid pandemic. Education is about the cultivation of each individual's abilities and talents. Each student will come into a class with unique background experiences and interests, so it is essential that teaching is tailored and bidirectional. I endeavour to keep lessons tangible and relevant with varied examples, and regularly modify the material according to the interests of the students. I know that I am successful when I see each student's knowledge, abilities and fascination grow and develop over the academic term and beyond, and above all when they tell me how my teaching has influenced them.
